Sera Helsinki rugs provide to improve the living standards of the artisans by empowering the most vulnerable groups in Ethiopia: people with disabilities and single mothers.  Combining modern Finnish design with traditional Ethiopian craftsmanship:  Laine means 'wave' in Finnish.  Anna Pirkola, the designer, was influenced by the movement of the ocean which is always different, just as every rug is unique due to its hand made nature.​

This product is hand-made to order, lead-time is 10-14 weeks. Custom sizes available on request.
