Shipping & Pickup
- Who do you ship with?
We ship via UPS, Purolator, Fedex, or DHL using real-time, carrier-calculated rates at checkout. - When will my order ship?
Most in-stock items ship within 2–3 business days (Mon–Fri). Special-order or made-on-demand items ship when ready (timelines are estimates). - How will I know it’s on the way?
You’ll receive an Order Acknowledgement after purchase and a Shipment Notification with tracking once your order leaves. (Can’t find it? Please check your spam folder.) - Can I change my shipping address after ordering?
We can update addresses before an order ships. Once shipped, addresses can’t be changed. - Delivery method & signatures
Standard service is curbside delivery. A signature may be required depending on service and destination. Some carriers may safe-drop lower-value parcels at their discretion. - PO Boxes
We cannot ship to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
Shipping Costs
- Free shipping (North America): Most orders $500+ (before tax) ship free within Canada & the USA. Exclusions apply; see product pages/cart for any exceptions.
- How are shipping fees calculated?
At checkout you’ll see live, carrier-calculated rates based on destination, weight/dimensions, and service level. When possible, we consolidate items to surface better rates. - What’s included?
Charges reflect handling, packaging, and transportation. Oversize/fragile items may carry additional surcharges. - Promotions
Any free-shipping or promotional offers will be clearly noted on-site when available.
Unclaimed, Stolen & Returned Packages
- Unclaimed/incorrect address/refused deliveries
If a shipment returns to us because it was unclaimed, refused, or addressed incorrectly, the return and re-ship feesare the customer’s responsibility. - Marked “Delivered” but missing
Once a carrier marks a package Delivered, risk of loss passes to the recipient. Please check with neighbours/building staff and file a claim with the carrier. We’re happy to provide documentation, but we do not reimburse or re-ship stolen packages. - Tracking
A tracking number is emailed when your order ships. Please monitor tracking to ensure timely receipt.
Free In-Store Pickup (Toronto)
- Availability
Free local pickup is available for eligible items at our Toronto location. - Timing
We’ll email when your order is ready. Please pick up within 7 days of notification (storage fees may apply after that). - ID
Please bring your order confirmation and a photo ID.
Shipping within Canada & USA
Orders shipped within Canada are charged applicable sales taxes based on the ship-to province/territory (GST/HSTand, where applicable, PST/QST). Rates are calculated at checkout.
For in-store pickup in Toronto, Ontario HST applies.
(For U.S. & international orders, we don’t collect sales tax at checkout; duties/taxes may be due on import.)
- Carriers & rates: Live, carrier-calculated options from UPS, Purolator, Fedex, or DHL at checkout.

- Service level: Curbside delivery standard; Inside Delivery/White-Glove by quote in select areas.

International Shipping
- Where we ship: Australia, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom (UK).
- Rates & carriers: Live options at checkout from UPS, Purolator, Fedex, or DHL.
- Duties & taxes: Import duties, VAT, and brokerage (if any) are paid by the recipient.
- Returns: Orders shipped outside North America are final sale.

Where can I see a Mararamiro piece in person?
You can visit our Toronto store at 2090 Dundas St W to see in stock items in person. Please call the store at 437-880-6869 or email hello@mararamiro.com to inquire if an item is available to view in store.
The piece I want is sold out. When will it be available?
Please use the form provided on the specific product page to submit your email address for notification when the piece becomes available. The availability of each piece varies as all are handmade by different artisans across the world.
I love what I ordered but would like to make a small change.
Once an order is placed we cannot make any changes. Although we do not process standard exchanges, you may request to return your item (see return policies below) and re-purchase the item that you prefer.
Do you have samples of your rugs?
We have select rug samples available in store. Some samples are also available for purchase. If you wish to inquire about purchasing a rug sample, please email us at hello@mararamiro.com.
Order cancellations
We do our best to keep our customers informed with the latest information regarding products on order. Please note that due to shipping and supply chain volatility, ship times are estimates and are subject to change.
All in-store and online orders that have not yet shipped are subject to a 25% cancellation fee. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled. Please email hello@mararamiro.com to request an order cancellation.
Furniture orders cannot be cancelled.
What is the option to pay in installments on Shop Pay?
When checking out with Shop Pay, you now have the option to pay now or later. Paying in installments on Shop Pay allows you to split your purchase amount into four equal, biweekly installment payments with 0% APR, or monthly installments with no hidden or late fees*.
