Product Story

Handcrafted in the village of Tamegroute in southern Morocco, this distinct pottery is the result of a centuries-old tradition passed down through just seven artisan families. Each piece is shaped by hand and fired in ancient earthen kilns, where placement in the flames determines its rich, unpredictable finish.

Whether in deep green, golden citron, or earthy browns, each glaze is formed from a unique mix of local minerals, flame, and chance - giving every piece its own singular texture and tone. No two are ever the same.

Cracks, drips, kiln marks, and surface irregularities are not flaws - they’re the heart of Tamegroute. These imperfections tell the story of the fire, the hands that formed it, and the tradition that refuses to be polished or mass-produced. It’s raw, imperfect, and deeply soulful - just as it was meant to be.
