Product Story

This unique table lamp repurposes an antique Chinese oil pot. This dark glazed pot from Shanxi province, China, dates back to the late Qing Dynasty (c. 1850-1900). Crafted from durable ceramics, it features a short neck and broad base with a distinctive glaze that varies from blue-black to greenish-black. 

The lamp is finished with brass hardware and topped with a linen shade.

For convenience, the lamp includes an on/off toggle switch on the cord and comes equipped with a North American plug, making it ready for use.
