The Horse Chestnut by Grimes Foundry pairs a horse chestnut with a segment of its husk, cast in bronze from an English horse chestnut tree in the Lincolnshire Wolds.

As an ornament, the chestnut and husk are cast as two separate pieces. As a pull, they are cast as one piece and threaded with a bolt.

For each item, after the patina is applied, a thin layer of wax is used to protect the finish. This results in a living finish that develops over time.

Lead Time: Each piece in this collection is made to order, from raw metals to finished product. Lead times vary from 3-6 weeks.
