Boat Vessel

Hand-built vessel in a compressed oval form, elevated on a central foot that creates a cantilevered effect along the edges, evoking a suspended, boat-like silhouette. Finished with hand-brushed layers of ochre and white glaze, the surface reveals variations in tone and opacity that retain traces of the making process and the underlying clay body.

Designed to move easily between function and display, the vessel pairs beautifully with a flower frog for sculptural floral arrangements, allowing a few carefully placed stems to take centre stage. It also works as a catchall for keys, jewelry, or treasured objects, while its distinctive form holds its own as a sculptural centerpiece when left empty.
