Maha Alavi's newest release, the BASIN Bowl, is a softer expression of the peaks and valleys of Japan's naturally mountainous landscape. Often seen from the windows of the Shinkansen (high speed trains running through the country) on the way south from Tokyo. Both sides of the bowl have a different borders/openings for a subtle shift in function and feeling.

Cast from solid bronze and brass, the BASIN Bowl is available in 3 finishes: polished brass, polished white bronze, and a special dual finish bowl with polished brass on one side, and polished white bronze on the other.
