Vintage Clay Vessel With Tribal Pattern
A primitive handmade earthenware vessel from Northern Morocco with etched patterns. Traditionally used to store olive oil. This vessel does have small chips and an old break at the top opening that was once repaired. We recommend displaying this vessel on it’s side or leaning in a corner due to its very narrow base. This item is quite large so make sure to check the dimensions.
Please note that clay is porous. While these types of vessels were commonly used to contain liquid in Morocco, they will sweat or leak out the liquid and leave rings around the clay. Use them purely decoratively.
*Please note that as unique, handmade pieces, no two pieces are ever exactly the same and the color may vary across monitors. Our website photos are a close representation of this product, but may not be identical to the piece you receive.
