Recoveco No. 2 Stoneware Vase by Ila Cerámica
Sculptural stoneware vase from Ila Cerámica’s Permanent Collection, a series of pieces that arrived to stay after the first manual collection “Voids and Delays”. These organic yet functional pieces are great as standalone sculptural items or styled with dried flowers.
About the artist, Camila Apaez: Ila Cerámica is a small studio in Guadalajara, Mexico with 100% handcrafted creative processes; glaze and clay research is slow and thorough. Ila Cerámica emerged from a process of inner inquiry where ceramics became a space for presence, silence, touch and patience.
What began as a silent personal journey, has turned into a place where poetry, nature and corporeal silhouettes meet as constant themes in Ila´s process. Voids and emptiness, weight and duality are also sources of inspiration in Ila’s work.
