Hand-built dish made from a mixture of wild clay, gathered sand and white clay. This dish was made using a gathered rock from the river as a form for the clay slab. This one of a kind dish has been left raw and unglazed.

meet the maker: Of The Earth

Conrad and Dina are ceramic artists from British Columbia, Canada. Their work is a co-creation with the earth and is inspired by the natural textures, hues and formations that exist in our world. Their intrigue with the ancient world and the history of ceramics adds to their inspiration in creating pieces that not only reflect the earth but mankind’s ritualistic relationship with clay for thousands of years.
