Meet Guoda and Justė, the makers behind our beloved OVO Things beeswax candles and handcrafted holders. As everything is ab ovo, they took inspiration from an egg and called their goods OVO Things. These are the perfected simple items for home: beeswax candles or oak and bronze candle holders. Their approach is to add new things slowly and focus on quality rather than an assortment.
The things are made from the finest natural materials like beeswax, oak, bronze, porcelain. Every piece this duo designs is produced in limited amounts in Lithuania by skilled local manufacturers and tailors.
For Guoda and Justė, there's much beauty in making things in the old ways; every piece they design is handmade in limited amounts by skillful people in several small workshops in Lithuania, their long-term partners. All things are crafted from natural materials like wood, porcelain, bronze, brass and beeswax.

Wood Candle Holders
Designed by Marija Puipaitė, an artist who uses the human body as a starting point for her designs to create an organic connection with its user, and made by hand in Lithuania by OVO Things, these pieces will last for generations! These stunning oak and brass candle holders will look great in any setting – from rustic farmhouse tables to elegant dining rooms – anywhere that needs a little extra light and warmth.
Made from leftover oak used in furniture production, the candle holders are created in a wood turning workshop, polished and oiled by hand. The brass detail adds interest while keeping things simple enough that it doesn't take away from other decor items already present in your home
Porcelain Candle Holders
Handmade in small batches by a Lithuanian pottery maker, these OVO Things porcelain canele candle holders are poured into molds, dried and kiln fired.
100% Beeswax Candles
OVO Things all natural candles are handcrafted in Lithuania using 100% beeswax from local farmers. The candles are non-toxic and free from added color or fragrance.
Natural beeswax also varies in tone from bright yellow to darker brown adding to their beauty.
